Do I need to raise sponsorship for your trips?

No. A lot of our trips are challenge based so are perfect for raising money for charity but we only ask for our one off trip fee. However we are working closely with many charities and will offer any help and advice to people who are raising money.

Who will be leading the trips?

All our trips are run by experienced expedition leaders. Most of which have experience running adventure holidays all over the world.

When does the full trip cost have to be paid by?

No later than 5 weeks before the start of your trip.

We want to book as a group…do we get a discount?

It depends on the size of the group and the trip. Drop us an email with group numbers and we will see what we can do.

What are the trips like?

Our group trips are great fun and we ensure there is a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere at all times. A lot of our trips are challenge based so they can be quite full on and exhausting….but where is the fun in just lying down all holiday!!

We normally eat together on an evening which is a great way to relax after the long day. Our ‘end of trip’ celebrations are legendary!!

What sort of people come on your trips?

All kinds. We welcome people from all age groups and backgrounds. We have seasoned adventure travellers as well as first timers. We also welcome single people to come on the trips. The most important thing is you come with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and let the rest take care of itself!

How big are the groups on your trips?

We put maximum and minimum group numbers on each trips itinerary as some are different. However most trips we run are done on a minimum of 10 and maximum of 30 basis. This way we keep the groups large enough to be fun but small enough to still be personal and not feel crowded.

What ages can come on these trips?

Obviously 18+ but if you are 16 or 17 you can come on the trip as long as you have written permission from your parent or guardian.

What happens if the weather is really bad?

As we know here in Britain the weather is not perfect all of the time! Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the weather apart from knuckle down and get on with it! We will continue with our trips in all but the absolute worst weathers…unless of course we believe it is dangerous to continue. If we do have to cancel any sections of the trip we will endeavor to find alternative activities for the day.

What if I am exhausted and need a rest during the trip?

No problem. You are quite welcome to ride with the support driver and go on ahead to the next stopover.

How fast do I need to Cycle?

Each trip is different so please look at the specific trip you are thinking about. On many of our trips we do run them as a group cycling experience and your leader will keep you together.

I am joining on my own, who will I be sharing with?

We have lots of single riders join us so that is not a problem. The price you see is based upon a twin room with two people sharing. If you would like a room to yourself you will be charged a 'single supplement'. The cost of this is different on each trip, you will however get a chance to choose this option when booking.

If you are happy to share we will room you with another single rider of the same sex and match you in age as closely as possible.

Can I hire a bike from More Adventure?

Unfortunately we do not offer this service, the reason being that we believe it is best to have ridden and trained on the bike you will use for the trip.

I am vegetarian, can I come on the trip?

Yes of course! We love vegetarian food. Whatever your dietary requirement we will do out best to accommodate you. If we are unsure we will contact you for guidance.

You can specify any requirements upon booking.

Is my trip protected?

Yes. You are fully protected. Your money is held in a trust account until the end of your trip, this means that in the unlikely event of More Adventure having financial troubles we would always be able to finish your trip.
