The Pyrenees Coast to Coast Cycle is a fantastic route from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. Over the course of a week, riders experience some of the most famous passes in the world – the Col du Tourmalet (2115m), Col d’Aubisque (1709m), Col d’Aspin (1489m) and Col de Portet de Aspet (1069m), all of which have been immortalised by the Tour de France.

Here’s what Richard had to say after completing this epic challenge:

“Do you know what, it was a lifetime experience, something I could never imagine completing. I went into it with lots of apprehension, but the euphoria of finishing with a group that’s turned into a team has been absolutely splendid. More Adventure have looked after us for the whole trip and we couldn’t thank you more, so well done to you and the team”

The 8 day itinerary begins on the Atlantic Coast in the town of Hendaye. From here we enter the foothills of the Pyrenees, each day tackling some of the most iconic climbs in the world. On the final day we descend from the Col de Jau to the sea at Collioure, a Mediterranean jewel and the end point of the Pyrenees Coast to Coast.
