Over the past two weeks we’ve been supporting a unique fundraising event with RAW Adventures to coincide with #VEDay 2021 – Tommy’s Race to Victory.

Tommy’s Race to Victory

A team of intrepid adventurers have cycled and run over 850 miles throughout the UK, fundraising for the Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI), an incredible charity that supports Armed Forces veterans.

It’s been an absolute whirlwind of a journey, with #TeamTommy visits to numerous iconic WW2 sites and military bases, the Peak District, Liverpool’s bombed out church, Wales (!!!!), Coventry Cathedral, Blenheim Palace, Leyton Orient football ground (where we were greeted by Harry Kane!), and Downing Street. Today they will end their ride at the RBLI village in Aylesford, Kent.

They’ve battled hail, rain and brutal headwinds through some extremely challenging terrain. We’ve experienced the most amazing support from sponsors, the general public and RBLI supporters along the way.

The final stretch tackled the Chiltern Hills to the west of London then crossed the width of the city to Leighton Orient Football ground. Here the team were met by England football captain Harry Kane who is an ambassador for the charity.
